Reptiles

I’ve always had a fascination with wildlife, including the extinct animals (primarily dinosaurs). Ever since I was young, I could remember being amazed with every animal I saw, including the local animals around where I live that I see on the daily like Australian Magpies or Eastern Grey Kangaroos. But the animals I grew to adore are reptiles and birds, especially the reptiles. I always had an obsession with reptiles because of Steve Irwin and Coyote Peterson. Wanting to make my own show, books, a lot of stuff like that because of them, they’re my inspiration. When I was around the same age that I fell in love with animals, I fell in love with Dinosaurs, primarily because of Jurassic Park Franchise and The Land Before Time (and other movies/shows/documentaries of course). Then around when I was year six, I learned about the Thylacine and I fell in love with the animal.

Crocodilians and Monitors are my favourite, if I had to pick one I’d pick Saltwater Crocodile and Perentie, Lace Monitor and Komodo Dragon. The main reason why they’re my favourites is because they’re big, unique and amazing in my opinion. Although their populations are great/getting better, we still need to protect them and nurture them.
