Insects

I think that we need to pay more attention to insects and protecting them than a lot of other environmentalists realize.

 

Insects are the backbone of almost, if not all species on earth, and they go extinct far more often but rarely get any attention because they're small, "insignificant" or "ugly". I've always loved insects, I am 16 years old, and an aspiring entomologist, but the future seems less certain every day.

 

Climate change will likely be irreversible by the time im in college, and im scared that by the time im qualified and ready, there wont be any more insects to study.
